Mara Lonner and Kim Schoenstadt are internationally exhibiting artists that join together to create public art projects. They maintain independent studio practices in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Venice, California respectively. Mara and Kim also have a history of creating independent public art projects.

By combining interests the two create playful works that study the area and reflect the current and historic natural and built environments. Through these considerations they compliment the project’s site and enliven the experience of its users.

Their goal is to create a public work that is both intellectually and visually engaging.
